These pooches need a round of apaws.
This barking mad highly interactive walkabout show see’s the public & our three delightfully friendly doggies put through their paces by an inept trainer to discover who is Best in Show.
They’ll raise the woof singing & dancing, fetching & begging & showing their skills on the agility course. We guarantee you’ll love them fur-ever.
Best in Show is an improvised walkabout act with static routines including song, dance & madcap audience competitions. Made with support from Theatre Hullabaloo & Funded by Art Council England.

Follow this swarm of super friendly bees as they search for a new home.
Meet the colony; Queen Beeatrix, The Beezey Rider, BayBee, Granny Bee, Scout Bee and Lord Bumbleton the third as they try to adapt to life outside the hive. Save the Bees! Make friends with them! Feed them! Watch them do their Waggle Dance! In this high impact, interactive, playful show. A walkabout act the whole family will be buzzing about.

Could our ancient relatives be a wake-up call for our age? The Cavemen, encourage the public away from their screens and towards playing and sharing in the present, to question modern rituals and the perceived wisdoms of hi-tech living.
The Cavemen is a non verbal anarchic improvised walkabout act that drops three cavemen into the present to explore modern social conventions encouraging play and people away from their screens.

Using clown, dance and improvisation, Boom Booms are always searching for the perfect opportunity to show you their FULL flabulousness and have been known to throw a tantrum or two!
High energy, dynamic and fully interactive with a sprinkling of anarchy and mayhem, this titillating taster is an all ROUND treat perfect for all the family.
Boom Booms walkabout act can be accompanied by a 10 -15 minute cabaret set.

The Hoods are 3 lovingly exaggerated youths who promote play on the streets while subverting their social stereotype by performing good deeds in this vibrant, energetic & unpredictable act.
'The Hoods' was developed as part of the Conflux international artist residency.
BOxing crabs

It’s a bout too big for the sea so these pugilistic crustaceans have sidestepped on land for the biggest fight of their lives.
Stingray Robinson vs Marvellous Marlin Crabler for the undisputed champion of the sea world. There’s only one problem they don’t like fighting. They’d much rather make friends, explore dry land, train & play.
Improvised clown & choreographed slapstick nonsense will hit you with a comedy one two in this knockout two hander walk about.

New work in 2023 - Best in Show
Summer 2023 saw EggPeople make our latest act Best in Show which was made with support from Theatre Hullabaloo & Arts Council England. Making the act also allowed us to engage with artists from underrepresented backgrounds by providing both work & development opportunities. We’re really pleased with the reaction “The dogs were the best thing to do at Hullabaloo in the Park. I loved it when they had a wee on me and when we ran around together. They were really funny” Rafe, 8 years old. We’re looking forward to touring the show in 2024 & beyond. Hopefully we’ll have you howling soon.

EggPeople have completed a number of commissions over the years creating bespoke projects such as Hope St LTD 30th year anniversary production Climate change is Rubbish and performances for Culture Liverpool’s Celebration of Sgt Pepper’s at 50. We have also created a number of successful community engagement projects over the years, working with wide range of participants to create high impact, entertaining and original performances. Using street performance practices we create meaningful experiences that build confidence, advocate group cohesion and inspire new generations of performers.
